Windigo has been creating the school yearbook for over fifty years.

This week Edina High School students eagerly await the arrival of two anticipated publications: Images and Windigo.

While the Images release date is to be determined, it is rumored to be out this week. Images, Edina’s own literary arts magazine will be sold for $20 and features the art and writing of EHS students. “I look forward to Images every year,” said EHS senior Ari Bergeson. “You would be surprised how many gifted artists you go to school with after reading it.”

Images is an award winning publication, and is fully funded by the students who create it. “It’s really amazing the talent that you get to see when working on Images,” commented Images staff member and EHS sophomore Nate Saunders. “I think this is by far some of the best work I have seen submitted.”

Windigo, the school yearbook, is set to be released Friday morning during school. Students will be dismissed to pick up their pre-ordered books in EPAC by announcement. For students who have not yet ordered a yearbook, they can still order one online for $85. You may also buy it in person still for $90 as well.

Windigo members eagerly await the arrival of the books. Currently, the books are being held in a top-secret location. “The excitement among the Windigo staff this time of year is incredible,” remarked Windigo member and EHS junior Anna Harris. “We’ve all worked so hard to put this book together, and I think our work has payed off. It’s brought us really close together as a staff.”

Update (June 2, 2014): Images will be distributed Monday, June 2, and Tuesday, June 3 for $20.
