Every year, Edina High School senior women band together to come up with an acronym that they put on sweatshirts and sweatpants. Past examples of acronyms have included “SWARM”, “SWAKA”, and “SWOPP”. Each acronym begins with the letters “S” and “W” for “Senior Women”, but the rest of the acronym always remains a mystery. This year, the senior women have decided on “SWOOP”, and celebrate with “SWOOP” days a few times a month.
